A retreat for church and ministry leaders
The heart of ministry lies in the heart of Father God. It is his heart that has reached out to all and his heart that we seek to express in ministry, that his children may be reconciled to him, renewed in love for him, and be healed, restored and equipped to be fruitful in advancing his kingdom.
Yet, so often, all the other pressures and trappings of ministry result in us leaders losing our own connection with Father’s heart. Ministry becomes daily “tasks and meetings” to fulfill and goals to achieve. Time to rest in Father’s heart and be renewed not only in our relationship with him, but also be inspired in his creativity and abundant life, becomes a rare commodity.
This retreat gives you the opportunity to step away from the demands of leadership and spend time in Father’s embrace. Take time to rest, reflect, receive and be renewed in Father’s Presence. Be re–equipped to lead from a place of wholeness and renewed purpose.

Ministry team
Erik and Mary Fok (Retreat leaders)
… have a passion to see us flourish in a close and living relationship with Father God and thrive in abundant life that Jesus gives. We have been ardently ministering Father’s heart for over two decades, in conferences, churches and small groups in the UK and internationally. It’s a great joy and privilege to see God’s amazing love and power transform so many lives, achieve what seems impossible and surprise us with more than we can ask or imagine!
Erik previously worked over 25 years in high-tech and mobile businesses. He now serves in the elders’ team of One in Christ, Cardiff.
Mary recently retired from 40 years as a paediatrician specialising in children with special needs. We are blessed with four wonderful sons and nine lively grandchildren.
Prayer ministry team
Individual prayer ministry is available during the retreat from our teams of prayer ministers. They share decades of experience in intercession and ministering under guidance from the Holy Spirit. A number have had long experience in secular work as well as leadership in international mission teams and local churches.
Llangasty Retreat House
All our residential events are held at the beautiful Llangasty Retreat House which offers stunning views over Llangorse Lake and the mountains beyond. There are opportunities for local walks or exploring further into the mountains. Accommodation is simple but comfortable. Most of the rooms are single, though there are a limited number of twin rooms. All rooms have private washbasins, but are not en-suite. Shower and toilet facilities are shared amongst every 3-4 rooms. There are also two accessible rooms with en-suite and disability facilities. Our tariff for 2026 is included below.
Prices and booking
All prices are per person, full board.
If you are self–funding and require assistance, please speak with us regarding bursaries. We would not want finances to be a barrier to you coming. We do encourage you to come for the full event. If you can only attend for part of it, please let us know and we can make the appropriate adjustments.

Deposit with booking: £50 (non–refundable, deducted from final payment)
Full payment within 4 weeks of the event
Cancellation: 50% of total cost if notice is less than 3 weeks. 100% if notice is within a week. (Discretionary mitigation may apply)
